Music from the Covid Silence

When Los Angeles became quiet at night due to the pandemic
a band started playing in my imagination. This is the result of that silence
I've placed the songs into 4 groups to organize them in some fashion for listening.
The first and most accessable is The Common Time Collection.
The songs in this collection are mostly in 4/4 Time with
a few exceptions and are in a variety of styles.
The second group is The Blues Blasphemy Collection.
traditional blues musicians may find these either challenging or offensive.
These songs alter the traditional rhythms of the shuffle and slow blues.
The initial inspiration was exerimenting with the feel and timing of the shuffle which
lead to a variety of different ways to play blues rhythms.
The third group is The Prime Time - Odd Meter Collection.
These songs are all in unconventional odd meters and are experiments
with prime numbers as a basis for each song. All these songs grew out of
a groove I would create on the drums and then the music would reveal itself to me.
The last group is The Afro, Latin, Bossa & Samba Collection.
These songs are all based on the traditional rhythms of these styles
but some are also placed into the world of odd meters which led them to
some unusual places for these styles of music.
All of the music is instrumental, there are no vocals or lyrics.
There are about 7 or 8 CD's worth of music here
take your time listening for the best experience
